The Rab Outpost Jacket is a retro styled high pile fleece jacket made with modern performance fabrics. The warm high pile Polartec 300 shearling fleece works well as a breathable and very warm midlayer for really cold conditions. The chest and shoulders feature a Matrix double weave softshell overlay. This provides additional protection when the Outpost jacket is worn as an outer and reduces shoulder strap wear on the high pile fleece. The full length YKK Vislon zip features a chin guard for comfort when you are fully zipped up on cold days. The two YKK Vislon hand pockets sit high so they can be accessed when wearing a harness and there is one YKK zipped chest pocket for valuables. The hood has a stretch finish to provide a snug and protective fit and the hem and cuffs have an elasticated finish.
